The Chinese American Museum Foundation continues to develop a 5-story destination in downtown Washington, DC just four blocks from the White House. The 1907 Beaux-Arts mansion is located near the National Geographic Museum, the historic Jefferson Hotel, and Embassy Row. We’re just a 10-minute walk from Dupont Circle Metro (Red) and an 8-minute walk from Farragut North and West (Red, Blue, Orange).

From our newly acquired building, the museum will serve to positively impact people from all backgrounds, across the country and abroad through curated exhibits, online experiences, educational programs, and events. In addition to offering a high-quality physical museum destination, we strive to be an interactive and content-rich resource that extends beyond our physical walls to encourage an ongoing conversation and visitor experience.
