MEET THE PANEL

Lucy Chan began her successful career in the tech world in the late 1970s, when no one in the industry looked like her. After 36 years holding leadership positions in product design and development, complex systems integration, professional services, sales, and business development, Lucy retired as a Vice President at IBM. Lucy is still active as an advisor/coach of the IBM Global Sales School.

Dr. Dawn Li, President of Data and Analytic Solutions Inc. (DAS), led the company from two individuals to a successful government contractor servicing 50+ projects over 10+ agencies in data analytics. Dr. Li is an entrepreneur, information and data specialist, and educator. Her expertise includes program and contract management, integrated data analytics systems, training and e-learning curriculum design, and business process improvement.

Cindy Liu is a data executive at Google where she leads a global team that builds the infrastructure for the next generation of Google’s flagship products such as Search, Maps, YouTube, and more. Prior to Google, Cindy was the Head of Data Platforms and Engineering at Capital One and has worked with a multitude of companies from startup to Fortune 100.

Rose Wang is an IT strategist and technology entrepreneur. She is currently serving as Executive Chair of the Board of Directors at rooom, Inc. the US operations of a German based tech startup. She is also an entrepreneur-in-residence at a cancer impact fund (AIM-HI Accelerator Fund) as well as George Washington University. Rose was also founder of Binary Group, an IT consulting firm providing enterprise solutions.

Sindy Yeh is the Senior Business Ambassador for Arlington County, Virginia and is a certified economic developer. In 2019, Sindy’s office was instrumental in the final decision by Amazon to select Arlington as its second global headquarters after a nationwide search. This economic and tech boom will bring in $3 billion in investment and 37,000 high paying tech jobs to the region. Sindy continues to build and maintain business development and opportunity in the region.
