We're excited to share some big news: the Chinese American Museum DC now has a second location dedicated entirely to community events and programming.

Our new event space is located at 729 15th Street NW, Washington, DC 20005, just a short walk from our museum home at 1218 16th Street NW. This larger, more comfortable space gives us the room to do more of what our community loves: rotating exhibits, concerts, book talks, Mahjong lessons, partner programs, and vendor markets, all in a setting built for bringing people together.

Two Locations, One Community

With two spaces now in the neighborhood, we know it can be easy to wonder which address a given event is at. Here's the simplest way to stay on top of it:

Check our Instagram and website before you head out. We'll always post the exact location: 1218 16th Street NW or 729 15th Street NW, on the event listing itself, so a quick look before you leave home is the best way to make sure you end up in the right place.

A Quick Note on Maps

Because 729 15th Street NW is a new address for us, it may not show up correctly on Google Maps or Apple Maps just yet, verification for new locations can take some time to process. If you search for us and see our original museum address at 1218 16th Street NW, that's expected while the update is pending. In the meantime, please rely on the address listed in our Instagram and website event posts rather than the pin that comes up in your maps app.
